March inspiration continues with 2Crafty Chipboard

Mixed Media Card (with insert box)

Hello there..

Back today with my second share of this month for 2Crafty Chipboard.. a card in mixed media shabby chic style, and this card
comes with a box. I am now addicted to create these boxes as well :)

For this, I again have used various mixed media supplies and
papers along with my favorite chippies from 2Crafty.
Some more pictures..

I have created layers with lace, cheese cloth, die cuts, papers and chippies.
Creating layers is always so much fun.
Here I have embossed all my chipboard pieces in pure white as it matches very
well with the soft tones and shabby chic look. The doily and the ornamental
design of chippies coordinated quite well with the theme.

2Crafty Chippies used:

Other supplies used:

Papers from my stash
Finnabair Modelling paste

sprays from Lindy's
Ranger Distress ink "vintage photo"
Flowers from Prima Marketing

Hope you enjoyed the post and got inspired :)

March Inspiration for Words & Paintery

"Magical"

Mixed Media Scrapbook Layout

Hello Friends,
I am at Words & Paintery blog today with inspiration for March Challenge. The color palette is beautiful.

For this Layout, I have created three layers of papers, keeping the top two layers in a triangular shape that I loved to design here. I have used lots of gorgeous flowers from 49 & Market (these orange flowers are from their autumn collection), spray from Lindy's and Finnabair Art Stones.
I have layered my picture with some lace, cheese cloth, jute string and flowers. To embellish more, I used some round pearls and a liquid one too. Added a chipboard title embossed in white EP. Finally did a lot of background stamping here and highlights of gesso to finish the layout.
Here are some detailed pictures:

List of Supplies used:

Papers from my stash :)
Flowers from 49 & Market
Lindy's Flat Fabio "Kissin Kenickie coral"
Finnabair Art stones
Chipboard title from 2Crafty Chipboard
EP from Lindy's "Purely White"
Finnabair Heavy white Gesso
Kaisercraft clear stamp "Botanical"
Liquid pearls "Lemon" from Dovecraft

From now onwards you'll find a list of supplies at the end of each post :)

Hope you enjoyed it and got inspired..

heARTful - Mixed Media on a ceramic heart

Hello Friends..

Today I am feeling so heARTful with this project that I have done for Mixed Media Place February Challenge. The moodboard is so magical and enchanting, full of nature.
I did mixed media on a ceramic heart that I got in a local store.

for this heart I have created layers using elements like some paper clay shapes with Prima IOD mould, Finnabair metal element which is my focal point, chipboard shapes from 2Crafty, flowers from 49 & Market and other random metal elements.
after arranging the elements over the heart, I covered them with black gesso. It is important to cover layer by layer so that you don't miss any bit.
Once everything is black and dried, I applied Finnbair metallic acrylic paints in "olive green" and "steampunk copper" using a dry brush. These paints are amazing and work equally well with dry or wet technique. Next I added highlights with Finnabair metallic wax in "white gold" which is one of my favorite shades in these waxes.
Then I added flowers which instantly perked up the whole piece.  I wasn't sure of my focal point, then I made that small heart with paper clay. As a final touch I added art stones colored black with gesso and some micro beads. Added a quote and it's done!

With this project, I participate in Mixed media Place February Challenge

March Challenge Inspiration for MMW

Mixed Media Floral Card

Hi there..
Today I am here with inspiration for MMW March Moodboard which is full of gorgeous flowers and lovely shades as a sign of spring. I have created a shabby chic card with a box.

I have created the same pattern for card as well the box lid. For the background layer, I worked with random pieces of papers and then did some stencil pattern. I distressed the edges of the layer. Then I used laces and a chipboard piece, followed by the flowers and a shabby chic bow created with ribbons and lace. Once I was done with the elements, I applied some colors in the background with Lindy's Sprays and finally splashes of gesso. I finished it with some tiny pearls.

Hope you enjoyed the post and got inspired :)
