Mixed Media Altered Garden Tools

Hello there..
Today I have a colorful and vibrant altered art to share.. Garden tools in vintage rustic style, loaded with lots of floral details
I am so in love with this project!!

I have attached the altered tools to a box frame, transforming it to a gorgeous wall art. It was so much fun to alter these old garden tools.. sharing a quick detail.
Started with covering the tools with lots of gesso, followed by adding some texture with loads of Finnabair art stones.

Then added colors with distress spray stains in "vintage photo" and "Fossiled Amber", and Lindy's spray in "sassy sapphire".
Next is some gorgeous flowers from wild orchid crafts and some from my stash. Also used some metal embellishments and some gold glitter balls. I gave a brick texture to the background of my frame.. and there we go.. old tools found a new life, transforming into a wall art.
Some more detailed pictures..

With this project I participate to:

Hope you got inspired you to create something out of anything :)
See you soon.. have a great day!!
