2Crafty Chipboard January inspiration

Hello Friends..
Today I am at 2Crafty Chipboard and this is my first post with the 2Crafty design team. I am really glad to share my projects for January.

 I have prepared two Mixed Media Layouts.

 "Timeless Love"

I created this layout on a very light background as I wanted my colors to pop up more.

I have used chipboard Jacqui's Flourish and the word
"Timeless" from my favorite Fine word set 2.  

For both the chippies, I have used gold embossing powder to add to their beauty.

For this layout,  I wanted it to be more colorful and be full of life.

 I hope I did the job :)

In this lively layout, I have used three different chippies. 

.

Here are some detailed pictures:

I loved that Bunch of Roses and have embossed it in greenish blue shade. 

Other two chippies are Grid Panel and the word "Vacation" from the Mini Travel word set.
 I heat embossed both of these in a purplish tone. I also did some stamping on the
 bunch of Roses and added tiny pearls on the grid panel to enhance the look.

Words & Paintery December Inspiration

Mixed Media Altered Frame

December is my favorite month. I love the cozy time, the woollens, the snow and more of tea & coffee. As an artist there is a lot of inspiration too in this month too. There we go with the Words & Paintery December Pallette, which gives me a soothing and frosty feel.

So for this frame, I had mostly whitish and soft tones in mind as the pallette says. Also I wanted to add a lot of sparkle. I took a blank frame and gessoed it first. Then I applied Texture Paste(white crackle). I wanted to have a dreamy design so grabbed some dream catcher chippies from 2Crafty Chipboard and luckily got one quote too. I gessoed the chippies and applied Finnabair waxes in "Royal Robes" and " White Gold". Added some bunch of flowers and art stones, followed by glimmer mist from Tattered Angles which has a very subtle blue tone with a sparkle. I loved the shade and it was perfect for this project. Finally added Distress glitter in "Pumice Stone".

Smile - Scrapbook Page Layout

Hello my friends..

Just felt like creating something colorful and came up with this happy layout, inspired by the Mixed Media Place October Moodboard.

For this Layout, I randomly picked a colorful paper from my stash. I prepared my background with gesso and stencil and then some background stamping. Arranged my photo with some scrap pieces of paper and a frame from my stash. I used chipboard shapes from 2crafty chipboard that I colored white with acrylic paint. Then comes an important part, flowers. I have used all pastel-colored flowers to match my overall theme. Finally some splashes and done!!

MMW Inspiration - Art Journal Layout

Hello there,

Today I have an Art Journal Layout to share as my inspiration project for Mixed Media Warriors. I was inspired by the soft pastel shades in Mixed Media Place October Challenge Moodboard. I have altered old pages using very soft and subtle tones.

For this project, I have used stencil from Dusty Attic, modeling paste from Prima, sprays from Lindys (Flat Fabios) and Prima Watercolor confections for my flowers. I did some background stamping too using kaisercraft and Finnabair stamps. Had a wonderful time creating it.

November inspiration for Words & Paintery

Hello my friends..

I am back today with a new post and this time it's a scrapbook page layout, DT project for Words & Paintery November Challenge which is a beautiful christmas palette this month and also my entry for the fabulous More Than Words Challenges November Main Challenge where the theme is Woodgrain/Outdoors.

Words & Paintery November Challenge

For this layout I have used woodgrain pattern papers from Fabrica Decoru. I started off with giving some distressing my papers. Once I was happy with it, I did some stenciling and arranging the photograph. I have used muslin cloth and sisal beneath the photograph to add some interest and height. I have used some gorgeous flowers from 49 & Market and chipoard shapes from 2Crafty Chipboard that I colored with Finnabair wax in "White Gold". To finish my layout, I added some Finnabair art stones and micro beads. Some detailed pictures..

Inspiration for MMW November Challenge

Hi Friends,

Today I have a project for Mixed Media Warriors November Moodboard which has an Autum theme and I am loving it. I have created a mixed media project and played with watercolors.

For this frame, I have made a pumpkin and some leaves in Prima watercolor confections (classics) and fussy cut them. Added some texture in the background. I also used some sisal and art stones, and added some color with distress spray stains.

"Treasure" - Finnabair Inspired

Hello there,

Today I have a project inspired by Finnabair and had a wonderful experience doing this Notebook Cover. 

The Finnabair waxes do all the magic. They are so versatile and kind of addictive. In this project I used Antique Brilliance "Lucky Emerald", opal magic "Royal Robes" and Metallique "Vintage Gold". I covered the embellishments with black gesso and applied the waxes just in a way I wanted, until I got the desired results.

Inspired by nature

Hello there,

Today I am inspired by nature's wonders and this inspiration comes from Mixed Media & Art Joint project stage 3 - "The breath of nature".

 For this challenge, one element from nature has to be used which should not be from scrap store and one more obligatory element is letters in any form. I have used natural soil in my project along with Mixed Media Supplies.
