April Inspiration "Delight" for 2Crafty Chipboard

Art Journal Page
"Delight"

Hello Friends..

I am back to inspire you all with an art journal page this time, using some of my favourite 2Crafty chippies.

I started off with Lindy's magicals in "Tibetan poppy teal" in the background followed by some good background stamping which is a must for me in an art journal page especially. I used stamps from Kaisercraft and Finnabair. I then added some random washi tapes for added texture and interest in the background.

I loved the Dandelions chippies so much and was really tempted to use it for this journal page.
I embossed the Dandelions and the mini word with Lindy's EP "Midnight bronze".
It gave a nice contrast to the background.

I chose to keep the diamond chunk bits in their original colour and just added some hints of background stamping for coordination.

April Inspiration "Feed Your Soul" - A cookbook for 2Crafty

Cookbook cover - "Feed your soul"

Hi friends..

After having a wonderful vacation, I am back to my happy place :)
This time for 2Crafty Chipboard, I transformed a notebook to a cookbook with one divider in mixed media.

I so love the foliage chippies from 2Crafty. Such a wonderful collection and I am
really fond of using them in my projects.
Here also, I used two types of foliage chippies along with a gorgeous lace panel.

I worked on the background with Lindy's "Sidewalk chalk" and Finnabair's metallique paint "Rustic brown" combined with Finnabair's stencil.
I also added more texture by adding some embossed stamping, before I layered the elements together.
I have used the paper elements from 7 Dots Studio "Garden Party Collection" along with the chippies.

Now the chippies, I have used the lace panel in its original form and coloured the foliage with Finnabair's metallique paint in "Golden Moss".
I Simply layered the pieces with the paper elements. Keeping the coordination, I designed the cover and the separator much in a similar way.

Hello Friends..

This time I am guest designing for MCS April LE kit, featuring some mixed collection from various popular brands - 49 & Market, Prima Marketing, Kaisercraft and My Minds Eye.

I moved slightly out of my comfort zone and created a layout using nothing much, but the paper elements only.

I combined two different patterned papers from My Minds Eye. I kept it simple, just layering the die cut floral elements from My Minds Eye.
Loved the quick process of creating this lo.

Debut DT Inspiration for Woodouts!

"Mystic Village on the Moon"

Hi Friends..

Excited to share my debut DT project for Woodouts!
As the name says, Woodouts is all about wooden cut outs in wonderful shapes, that can be altered into beautiful and unique home decor pieces.
I start with my favourite shape - Moon.
I totally enjoyed designing this piece in mixed media, creating lots of textures and layers and coloring it throughout with Finnabair’s waxes.

To start with, I applied Finnabair's sand texture paste and mini art stones on the moon base for that gritty surface. Next I arranged all the elements.
I have used several mini wooden houses that form as the focal point of this project.
Once happy with the cluster, I covered everything with black gesso, followed by Finnabair’s waxes in “old silver” and “Firebird”.

I love nature and most of my projects are inspired by it. In this project, I tried to add a mystic feel of valleys and countryside living... on the moon!!!

I hope you liked it and got inspired..
stay tuned for more of my upcoming inspiration projects every month with woodouts!
